Alekto 12-16-2004, 09:15 AM A long time ago i begin to create gollum but other projects came in the first hand.
So now i thought that it would be time to take him up again.. i know that the textures sux but it was just a test I made.
Please let me know what you think about it.

A very solid character, very thin skeletal and faithful to the general characteristics of the origonal character. I think the eye texture in particular could be seriously improved at the moment it looks quite stark and basic, I think its particularly important given the large size of the eyes.

know that the texture is totaly wrong.. it was only a test to see how it could look

good start, but you have way too much edges than needed, try deleting few of them and modelling becomes easier for you. Don't start texturing yet, fix few major problems of you character and then start mapping and painting

almost everywhere, that makes your model look little cornered and not smooth and organic. at least you should get rid off forhead and neck edges, youll do fine with half of them

What references are you working from? I never was able to get any ref pic's on gollum. The only crit's I have though is his nose and his ears. Take a look at them in this pic.
