CGTalk - WIP - Dynamite Ride

Working on this for a furom challenge elsewhere, where u have a week to make what u think is a "Dynamite Ride", this one im making involves i giant wad of dynamite encased in that cyclinder and when it is blown up the pressure pushes the rid upwards, the seating rack is still being modelled.

At the moment its about 100 000 faces, but that is only cus of using curves and planar tesselating, other than that, i havnt got any probs with it so far.

If this could actually work in real, i would ride it :D

What's the scale of this thing? Height? Diameter? The only familiar parts here are the bolt heads, but they can vary in size, so it's difficult to judge the scale of this thing.

As for the design, how about something like a modern gun, a barrel with a breach that can be loaded with a cartridge of dynamite?
