I found this comp only yesterday, shame on me. Here we go.

The main idea:
depict life of simple people in space opera type of environment. I'll draw only the "cafe" part of the picture, but to catch the atmosphere I'll plan everything before strting. Every object in the scene will have purpose and origin. For you (and me) to understand origin I made this plan (with help of mouse in creaturehouse expression 3). The purpose will be seen in the final image.

Young girl, drinking coffee under large cafe umbrella.
A child, who lost his mother in the docks area.
(I want to show a contrast: fragile human beings vs powerful spacecrafts)

front - peacefull Paris-style cafe
back - menacing view of huge space ships in the background

this is an interesting way to start, maybe it would be a good idea to do another one of these plans, but zoom in on the details of the cafe and which areas will be in the picture.
