fellow modelers and texture artist,
I got this character I'm about to finish here for my demo reel.
I could use some last minute critique before I do my renders for my reel. I forgot my head map but I will post it as soon as I get home.
I could use critique on the texture, (color, or lack of color). I really want this to kick ass, so be critical with the critiques thanks.

map 1028 diffuse and 512 diffuse for the head , which is not present. your critiques are appreciated.

Geometry: Awesome, would fit in perfectly with most FPSs available now.

Texture: Very hard to read currently. Is too dark and there is too little contrast - BoBo and Soul both do exemplary texture work for their humanoid characters, I would check out their respective web sites for inspiration!

heres the head shot. I work alittle more details here and there. its getting close to being finished.

Is there areas that are lacking detail?. any suggestions would be cool. All I have left are details on the chest and the gloves . Its really hard to critique your own work. I've been working on this for a while, It gets hard to spot areas that need fixing.
adam a- I tryed to lighten it up a bit. let me know if its still to dark.

the texture looks quite plain it lacks a considerable amount of details like weathering and scratching ..you should look at the new media from " nuclear dawn " mod ...

notice how the texture has a lot of depth ...scratches etchetra.
