Some of you may remember this character I was working on like a year ago. . . (if you remember me that is)

Anyway I was digging though some old stuff and I came across it and decided to start modeling her, again. I haven't spent to much time on the legs and arms yet, I'm just starting on the back and trying to do the muscels through there, then I'll do the arms.

Any comments or crits would be helpful as some parts are really stumping me. . .(especially when I get in to the sholders and arms.)

BTW its at 1146 tri and I haven't really set any limits on her though I may try to keep her at a respectable 5 to 6 thousand, but we'll see where we go with her.

nice start :),
but think about the clothes. why do you want to model muscles? you won't see them if the person is wearing clothes

Awe, but to help with the flow of the clothing, and also for interchangable clothing pieces. I also figure it is good practice.

Yeah seems like it would be good to model the whole body, then if you want to later you can go back and delete some polys that are hidden by clothing.

looks very promising. the shoulder area, it's got a nice slope, but then a sharp sort of 'drop' that would be ok if that was her clothing, but it sounds like you want to have her body underneath & it's not really a correct shape if her shoulder does that. i'd use the row of verts before that (up on the shoulder) to round out a bit first & then very slightly shrink that sharp row of verts & rotate them a bit so it looks more like how a shoulder goes into an arm. (i'd do a demonstration picture, but i'm on someone else's computer right now). the same can be said for the hips a bit too. the way they go into the thigh like that is a little too strong of a slope, you know? i'd round out in there a bit too. and when you get to texturing, make sure you add lots of different details to her clothes because with that color scheme, she might come off as a chun li clone :D
