The bigest problem with Gary Larson, is that he cannot draw. Its not an insult, he knows this. His drawings are fine for what he is doing, but they dont translate well into 3d. If you wanna do a funny alien piece. I would suggest you do about 2 dozen drawings of your own alien design, from many angles. Just draw alot. That is probibly the best thing. Especially if your going to put it on your demo reel.

but hey!, all the work youve done so far isnt wasted! you learned alot from making this guy and i gaurentee that your next alien will be much better. Keep it up man!:)
