Hi...
I was just wondering if there is a tutorial, preferibly a VTM
on how to model a car from scratch, were nothing is excluded.

Digital Tutors has "Maya Intermediate Photorealistic Car Modeling" -- http://store.digital-tutors.com/store2/customer/product.php?productid=56&cat=15&page=1

(Based on the synopsis, it seems pretty complete.)

I can recommend Dan Ablan -- www.3dgarage.com
and
Phillip (don't recall last name) at www.simplylightwave.com
http://www.simplylightwave.com/movie_pages/tutorial.mhtml?tut_id=504

The simplylightwave tute also has two excellent follow ons covering render settings. Dan Ablan's tute is more basic and is in his intro to Lightwave set. But its very, very specific-- you see each point and poly, and he's excellent at showing how to use reference photos.

Bot are for Lightwave, but could be pretty easily used by users of other apps.
