I'm assuming you mean custom brushes?
1. create a new image, 32x32 (or whatever, depending on the size you want your brush to be)
2. create the shape you want to use as a brush (use a white background and black color on it, greys comes out as varying grades of transparency which can be useful)
3. select all
4. go 'edit/define brush preset'
5. done
(you don't actually need to do this though, just create your custom brush on a separate layer, select it and define brush preset)
you should look in the photoshop help file, dude. it's all in there.
all the best

It should also be noted that brushes can be made from photos as well.
Here, have a look through this list, halfway down there's a tute called: "Fundamentals -- Custom Brushes" http://www.photoshopgurus.com/tutorials_beginner.html
