View Full Version : Popup Menu from Element details
meloncully 12-11-2004, 10:00 AM how would it be possible for me to create a little popover form that allowed me to create/remove/edit and select selection sets?
like, take the "By Selection Sets" part from the Element Details->Statistics-> By Selection Sets and make a menu such as the Action Center one, or a little Containter like the Meshlist ?
would i need to do some perl programming, like:
(pseudo code)
fetch the selection sets
show the selection sets
add selection to selection set
.. etc etc?

Unfortunately, no, select.useSet cannot currently be used to create a popup in a form.
A perl script would also not be able to do this; at this point in time, scripts are really just macros with flow control.

Currently, no, forms cannot have icons assigned to them.

ok, thanks for the input/reply, i almost had a perfect layout setup goin.. but ill have to change it around a little bit :)
do you know if and when u might possibly be implementing such features?
in the mean time.. i think ill setup my nostromo n52 to the modo hotkeys so i can get to them faster :)
hopefully this will eliminate some un-necessary buttons/interface clutter
