fixed link (http://www.mymovies.net/player/play.asp?TRID=800|1592&filmid=800&sec=trailers&comingsoon=true) (you had a double http:// in there).

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the exact same trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/batman_begins/)? 'Cause it's been out for some time now.

they had the NEW trailer this morning, but they probably replaced it with the teaser because it was a leak

Its looking good so far... so long as Bale is on the money....

I think the most interesting thing about the movie is going to be essentially the origin (Big surprise, every hero movie's best part is the origin). Most people know why he became Batman, but not how. How did he learn to fight? Where did he get his "wonderful toys"? How did he become a "a one man CSI"? How did Alfred let him do this while he was growing up? Did Alfred go along willingly or was he forced by Bruce (I think this would be the most interesting one, Michael Kaine would really put a lot of depth in a supporting character).

These are the things that are going to draw the viewer into his world and they feel like they are part of the development of his character.

Looks nice.

Just had a thought. This will be the first batman that looks like batman without wearing the suit.

I seriously doubt a shirtless Michael Keaton would have looked the part as well as Chistian Bale (Keaton was an excellent, and risky, choice for the first film though)

Agree with you about the Origin tales, metroeast... with one notable exception... Incredibles, anyone? :)

This just doesn't look as exciting as the first Batman movie. But I suppose you can't judge a movie off it's trailer.

Looks great - I agree, the 1st is a hard act to follow, but this movie looks like it has a different feel entirely. More of an epic feel than a comic book feel.

I didn't really think the first (and also second) one had a comic book feel to it. More Film-Noirish. The third and fourth had comic book feels to them, but that was when the movie series started to decline. Interestingly enough, Bob Kane said in an interview he thought Val Kilmer played the character the best.

That is probably one of the reasons I liked that movie so much. It made the attempt to break the mold. They really made the characters very real and likeable.

of all the news on the web I have seen, I haven't seen any dramatic critisms. Sure there were a few complaining about the batmobile(the tumbler) and the suit, but many of those have been silenced. Those who have read a script or a treatment have been quitely confident about the quality of the film.

The last time I saw a cast of this caliber was Lord of the Rings and we know how well that movie did.

So has anyone said anything about who the villain is going to be for this movie?

Some day I want to see Scarecrow as a villain in the movies...and I want Steve Buscemi to play him. I could get behind that.

As for the Constantine trailer... I'm sure I saw that one long ago... and I remembered thinking, "Gah, I thought Keanu wasn't going to do any more movies like this?!" But I like the look of it, really. It looks like a good movie. I really do like Keanu; he was great in Something's Gotta Give. Isn't this one based off a comic book, too? (I'm pretty sure I heard that.... but... I could be wrong  There's a first time for everything ;))

The villain for the movie is
Ra's al Ghul (http://www.unstable.com/whoswho/rasalghu.htm)
a Billonaire inmortal head of the League of Assasins.

I think christian bale is the perfect choice for Batman. Hopefully the writing holds up with the visuals

:( I always thought that Buscemi was super creepy enough to play Scarecrow.... This makes me sad.

I, for one, have 100% confidence in Christian Bale.

Bat(e)man is going to rock.

Oh boy - I like the brooding teaser a lot, but this just clocked it up to 11. By the way, over at the Shepperton(Pinewood) Studio site (http://www.pinewoodshepperton.com/html/News/newsfiles/willyWonker.htm) there's mention of production on "Batman: Intimidation Game" - anyone know if this is the follow-up to "Batman Begins" or is it a codename?
