I'm not sure if i've put this in the right place, but i'm sure that if its wrong, it'll get moved. :)

I'm studying computer animation at University, and one of our units this term is character animaton, in which we have to design, and animate a short piece of about 20 secs.

I'm currently using 3dsMax 7

My problem is this -

After getting so far with the modelling, rigging and skinning, i thought i would try some texturing. I've used the uvw unwrap modifier and spent many hours setting it up. It works fine. But now, my skinning doesn't.

Does anybody know what i may have done? Or is there an order in which this should be attempted?

On my modifier stack, from top to bottom -> Mesh Smooth, Skin, UVW Unwrap, Editable Poly

I'm hoping it's something really simle that i've over looked... :s

I'll say a thanks in advance. :)

Well, after quite alot of head scratching from me, i finally worked out my problem, which in fact, was very simple, and i feel quite the fool.

All i had to do to solve my problem was collapse the uvw unwrap in the modifier stack.

Simple.
