Ello, this is my first post so please be nice! having a bit of trouble with the morpher in Max, i've done quite a few lip sync anims and i need to know if i can merge all the anims into one anim, if that makes sense!? I've lip synced each line in a conversation and then saved that part of the conversation as an individual max file, i've been told that the whole lip synced conversation needs to be in one max file. anyone know if this can be done, or is it a case of re-animating? i've tried the 'merge animation' tool and cutting and pasting tracks but no joy :(

1. Load the first file and save it under a different name.

2. Open the second, go to the stack, right click the morpher and copy.

3. Load the first file and paste the morpher in the stack above the first. Go into track view to shift the keys of the second morpher to beyond the keys of the first, aligned with any merged bone animation data frmo the second file, if any.

4. Use the Dope Sheet editor to select and copy the 'time' from the second morph (F1: 'Paste Time') and paste it in the first morph.

5. Align the new keys to the same keys in the old morpher modifier (turn on snap frames) and delete the second morpher when you're done. Repeat.

This was done in Max 7, so I hope it works for whatever version you're using. Good luck!
