This was one of the few options to generate flora and greenery back in the OLD 3d Studio DOS days, I see that it is still around for MAX via the Blur guys......It is called the L System, was called the L Parser way back when. Similar to X Frog ( in a way) take a look

I think there were some replies in this thread with more links, I guess they were lost in the crash. Could you renew them, please. There was a link to how to grow them and all of that.
