Nice female figure, i don't like the aesthetic qualities of the creature though, the wings are a little off as well (get rid of the white wings) , i think the woman is so strong that the rest of the painting has to live up to her. This is the style of painting i'm trying to develop in my technique as well (painterly look), i'm kind of hacking thru my stuff right now. Great figure 2.8 stars :thumbsup:

i guess the white wings do look a little strange...but i like the idea of the two sets of wings...but that doesn't really matter, i think this is incredible. i love the style of the entire subject...not just the woman.

...this is an amazing image you have here... the creature is very unusual which i like to see and you have an interesting way of using the muted colors. i do however have a couple suggestions that are along the same lines as many others on the thread do - take out the white feathered wings and maybe extend the other wings (maybe as far as hanging below the beast the female is riding on, which i think would really unite the look of the rider and beast a bit),,, to further push this, i think the shadow the figure casts on the beast could be a bit more defined and dark - she's kind of floating right now... and lastly, i think the background could use a little definition to the slight cloud presence you have there right now just to give this almost blank environment a little personality...

...of course the piece is really great as it is right now! i only make these suggestions because i think that they could make the piece better... thanks for posting this one!

PS: I completely disagree with everyone who dislike the white wings...i think they r perfect in this piece. It adds a little ironic twist making you think...maybe shes a fallen angel...leave them...they are great

That’s amazing! The only thing I would do to it is make the handle she’s holding in her left hand a chain to match the other one. I might add some bee wings to the thing she is riding and maybe even an abdomen swinging in the background. Great job!:buttrock:

Hey. This is my first post. I felt i should support what I see is a sound and well executed concept. The two wings are both a juxtapositon of good and evil and a conflict within the figure from what i understand. Just as there is a conflict between the female figure having such an ominous disposition. I like it a lot! Keep up the good work! I like the painterly effect too.

although i don't like the dark themes :shrug: , i think the small wings are ok, because represent the original real nature of the character as a heavenly being, but corrupted by the dark side her wings are now atrophyed and replaced in function by the dark metal wings.
This kind of substitution of the natural attributes is a common place in the sadomasochistic world :argh:

Nice piece of powerful artwork, I like the way you combine the angel wing and the metal outfit together, it looks kinda scary, but also kioda make me wonder, what's her face look like, seems like it would be some amazingly beautiful woman under that mask.

Actually if her right leg merges the creature, so I guess shes sitting on her right leg that has a monster sickness. anyway the painting is amazing. imho only her left leg being too dark almost invisible and theres not anough darkness around to justify the black shadow.
