Title: Dwarrowdelf
Name: Rahul Rajadorai
Country: Singapore
Software: CINEMA 4D

Hello everyone! A good day to you. :)

Here's a scene i've been working on. It was inspired from the scene in Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. (The Dwarven city of Moria.)

The modeling was done in Wings, and the rendering was done in Cinema 4D. And some post work in Adobe Photoshop.

At first, i wanted to make this exactly like in the movie, though as i progressed, i used different textures than the ones in the movie, and a bit different lighting. Infact, i was unhappy with the final render (Really didn't like that background, the fiery spot.)

Here's a link to the original render:
Final Render (http://216.120.255.92/~admiral/dwarrodelf_Final.jpg)

Though, i wasn't very pleased with the results. So i took into Photoshop, threw in a few filters. And make it look like a sketch. Which make me 'fairly' proud.

Any critiques and comments are welcome. I know for a fact that this image is horrible. Especially compared to whats usually submitted here.

Have a nice day. :)

Nice one Admiral. I personally would have liked more of the orange lighting radiate down the hall a bit to indicate the intensity of the lightsource. The lack of any items in the hallway makes it hard for the viewer to relate to the scale of the hallway as well.

Thanks for the comments.

A bit orangey, eh? I'll go and redo that now. :D

And as for the objects. how about stones? Or, a figure?

Thanks again. :)

Perhaps stones or a skeleton or something the viewer can relate the massive scale of the hall to. Good job as is, better if tweaked.

Cheers
