well it took me 3 hours to do, ive copied it from a book, had the book near the monitor, its a bit messy but anyway hope that u all will like it

Not bad for a first try. He looks pretty intent on something, I think he must be a samurai chopping the head off someone for disgracing his master.

What program are you painting in?

I just got my first tablet [Wacom Intuos] running today too, I love it! Here's what a few leisurely hours produced:

I feel like there is something missing I guess, I dunno for three hours I think it is lacking character. I just cant connect, not that it isn’t good, it just feels cold to me. Maybe its because its just a portrait, hmmm... color it and see what happens...
