I saw this at Renderosity - I really like this! Great work, you get everything with this without it looking too sleazy, and the choice of colours work really well.

I LIKE!

Hi Anders,

I wonder if the reflections of the chrom balls reveal even more *gg*

*Drools*

Damn...That's nice! :p

I wonder if the reflections of the chrom balls reveal even more *gg*
*Takes image into photoshop to zoom in on the ball* Bah! Nothing!

*Everyone looks at Ra and asks if he's a perverted teenager.*

Thanks guys! :)

I wonder if the reflections of the chrom balls reveal even more *gg*LOL! Initially I did have a Christmas ball more strategically placed, so to say, but in the end I moved it.

By the way. May i ask how you did the outfit? With that velvet feel to the texture and the furry folds? :)

I was planning to make a small Christmas hat, with materials similiar to that. Though i wasn't sure how i could achieve it. :/

Oh! Oh! And! An advanced Merry Christmas to everyone!

Very nice
it looks like the good old images from the sixties (is that the right word?).
The composition is also excellent. The more i see of your work the more i get impressed.
Thank's for sharing

The outfit is straight poly-by-poly modeling with the skirt and belt being one mesh and the legs and torso one (boots are two separate meshes as well). The fur and tinsel are made with the excellent Hair Department plugin. The velvet material is based on the SLA velvet tutorial from Maxon, but it is tweaked a bit to fit the scene. I will make it available for download later today :)

Cool! Thanks for that Anders!

I would have thought you used Clothilde for the clothes! Very nice job with the poly by poly method! :D

Definitly puts the 'Merry' in Chirstmas. Thanks for posting the shader. Hope you get want you want under the tree this year (or any where else you want it;-)
Merry Christmas

Can we see more of Mrs. Santa :) Really love the pinup style. For my taste the card
is a bit empty but anyway this is really great. Thanks also to your wife for the idea :D

I want one! Not the card, the costume. Oh never mind my wife is 53 and my imagination not that good so it wouldn't have the same effect on me. Great work as always Anders!

Glad you folks like it :)

bobtronic: This is a very minimalistic style for me and I deliberately removed items to get the present look. It's a bit of an experiment to see how/if I can handle empty space.
