This was my first game character and hopefully you like it. I gave myself a challenge and took my favorite artist Feng Zhu artwork and brought it to the 3d world. Let me know what you guys think. http://tragamation.com/Tragamation/Templates/STILLS/IMAGES/3D%20MODELS/GIRLIE.gif

mustard yellow just isn't working. I think that the whole color scheme needs changing. and lower the eyes on the face.

hey!!

yeah i agree. the colours are abit harsh.
also, it looks like a cardboard cut out for some reason. i guess it must be the lighting or textures or something but it just has no depth to it.

cheers!!

good start, I hope that this isn't finished I mean it's ok, but I don't think it does Fengs concept much justice .. Your model doesn't capture the streamline look of the concept work, it looks kinda childish, might I add bubbley. I would work on the model a bit more.. And och! change that darned color theme I agree with da EvilTwin..

I'll be watching for some updates :curious:

If you reduce the size of the feet and ankles along with the size of the thighs just above the knee pads you'll be closer. Also, reduce the size of the breasts and try to elongate the face just a tad. There could be a sharper crease where her hip meets the side of her abdomen. Remember, she's skinny and has small features.

If you use the concept drawing as a base for the face texture, you should be able to make it look a bit better. Just copy the concept onto your texture and do a paintover, that should work.

Any chance of a wireframe?

PS: I'm not entirely sure, but I think that the area between the pants and the thong thing where there's a gap is probably supposed to be bare.

Well it looks very flat, the texture, not only the model, try to give more information, Feng Zhu doesn't need to do it with his layouts, because it's a clean bichromatic illustration. When u put color into a model u have to give more than only color, but Dark zone and highlights.

we don't fell her cloth like "cloth" give more information to ur texture it's a lil too poor.

For a first work it looks nice don't stop there !!! Keep on it
