3ds 7 trial tuts problem

These tutorials files are meant to be used in conjunction with the tutorials that come with max. If you open Max and goto Help--->Tutorials... you see a list of tutorials you can choose from. :) hope this helps

thanks so much, I figured this was how I accesed the tuts, but I've clicked on it a billion times and nothing ever comes up, the same thing happend with 3ds 6 when I was using it, any ideas?

Hmmm...when you click on tutorials it should open a window that lists all of the tuts. Maybe is has been disabled in the trial? ...that wouldn't make sense though; you would think they would include those so people could try them out before buying it. I'm stumped. :shrug:

Never mind, dang I'm such an idiot! I need to install the help files before I can use the tuts. Shows how noob I really am at this stuff- :rolleyes:

Also you need to watch out for the Typoes. Descreet has some renamed some stuff. For instance in the Animation menu, the (Add Custum Attribute) is now called the (Parameter Editor). It through me for a loop the first time using it. So you may need to watch for these things.
