Hands look weired to me too, like they don't belong to the character, but that hair is great as is the rest of it. ( well apart from the *typography*:p) :)

I love the lighting it's great.
I have to agree about his hands though, they're not very monkey like. I would like to see them with some fur on, more like monkey hands..

Very nice work! The first image you posted is one the the best 3D shot's I've seen in a while. The lighting is great, and the image has a lot of emotion to it, which is hard to do w/ a still. I really like how he pops out of the darkness. It makes for a dramatic shot.....good work.
