Hello (again)

I've been useing CPS for a while and really love using it - but I keep comming up against one niggley problem.

When I'm extruding multiple faces I get the problem (see image below) of the edge in the middle being extruded to.

I can fix that easily, but the REAL pain is that I loose my GIZMO -the scale and translate with the blue 'fix pivit' tool thingy (ok I never really knew what this thing was called)

I realise that it's not a CPS problem exactly, but I've heard that with it you have a few options to fix edge extrudes etc.

To make matters worse, 1 out of every time I extrude it's there, then I loose it again! Arrggg

so, er.....can anyone enlighten me???

thanks very much

so you don't want that middle edge to be extruded and the two faces to be kept together ?!

try polygons -> tool options -> keep faces together

Thanks - works a treat for that problem

- any idea where my gizmo is tho? it would be nice to extrude mulitple faces all around my object at once....

As far as I know, extruding things you only get your Multi tool on the inital extrusion. As soon as you deselect them it will always go away. It really doesnt offer you any more controls than what you are normally used to getting. All these settings on scale rotate maove can be modified in their proper tool settings boxes, okay, not scale but move and rotate can be changed global, local, etc.
