ATI and Crytek, the international award winning team that created the award winning Far Cry, have teamed to create a realtime interactive CGI movie called "The Project", that harnesses the capabilities of the new ATI RADEON® X800 XT and PLATINUM EDITION for Hollywood-style “machinima”—photo-realistic cinematic computing that promises to change the way you’ll game in the future!

Is there anyway to download that movie? You can download the movie on the above mentioned site. The Link is on the right side of the screen.

Can someone post the download link here? That page likes to crash both IE and Firefox on me.

Wow...I just got an X800 this week and downloaded this. It looks just like a prerendered scene from a video game until you stop it and move the camera around. Impressive stuff! Check out the wireframe view.

As some of you know, HDR support was added to Far Cry in version 1.3 for nVidia cards but it actually works on this tech demo too. To enable HDR, just edit system.cfg file like this:
r_HDRBrightOffset = "6.000000"
r_HDRBrightThreshold = "3.000000"
r_HDRLevel = "1.000000"
r_HDRRendering = "1"

(Default =
r_HDRBrightOffset = "6.000000"
r_HDRBrightThreshold = "3.000000"
r_HDRLevel = "3.000000"
r_HDRRendering = "0")

The graphics are cool and it shows potential for the genre. Not much of a story to the little vingette.
