thanks guy) you can see some screenshot of the games here (http://www.disciples2.com/D2/) .
I did some of the animation like goblins, orcs, neutral guy.. but I animated only like 15 of them (out of 200+) I was too busy with the models. I also did some 2d paintings for the cinematics wich I will post later maybe)

all these models where done so the animators dosent have to assign vertex .. so I had to separate the hand from the forearms ..etc

Do you paint those textures from scratch, or do you use source material? If so, what type of source material do you use? How many polys do you average, per character? That is awesome work!

I paint it from scratch, I might use some textures in softlight for example..just to add some noise.. but mostly I prefer painting it..I use a wacom tablet .
In the game , the models are sprites (pre-rendered) so I can use up too 300 000 poly (when I have lot of hairs) I dont use shag hair or any hairs plugins.. Im not quite satisfy with the results yet with Max hairs plugins.. I did some mesh for the hairs .. I link a Multi-res modifier on them then link it to a slider .. so when animator animate they can put the slider down so it reduce the number of polygons. I have some pic related to that I will upload it tonight )

well it took me around 5 months but I reused a lot a mesh. like the arm its almost the same for each empire character for example..(there is 4 races + neutrals) I draw new mapping and rescaled it.
Thanks for all your positives comments ! I really appreciated it :D

I just picked up the game a few days ago after I played the demo. It's pretty interesting. It's alot better visual quality than the only other games I've seen that's the same sort of genre. ( Age of Wonders[Epic Megagames], Hero's of Might and Magic, Lords of Magic[Sierra])
I love the character design. The way the models look in the game, they look like real-time characters how they're animated.
If you can, it'd be cool to see some of the flat shaded shots of a couple characters.
The rest of my comments about the game would deal with gameplay, so they'll probably go to the appropriate forum on the Disciples2 site. lol.
Great work man. I'll have to check the credits for your name. heh.
Should post your porfolio online.

I put pics of Nhidogg face . I add a texture in softlight over my drawing, so he looks more dirty . :D
