View Full Version : UVbrush plugin?
MattBirkett-Smith 12-04-2004, 08:34 PM Does anyone know of a UVbrush style plugin for maya that lets you do soft selection/moves of UV points? Moving one UV at a time for a 10,000 UV mesh gets pretty tiresome...
Also if anyone knows of any particularly good plugins for any aspect of UVing these would be appreciated.
oops, didnt resarch this too well : http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=191733

Thanks, this looks interesting :), i've just had a quick play around and although it crashes my system as often as not the results are quite impressive. Shame that even a 2000 UV strong mesh it takes well over a minute.
Im still hunting around for a soft move tool for UVs, if anyone knows of one i'd greatly appreciate it, however im beginning to consider learning a bit of winds 3d for this kinda thing.

Use selections to break up the amount of UV's it lays out, you will get much better results.
