View Full Version : Roten Hospital Building
fuxer 12-03-2004, 08:29 PM After hard working on the first one i decided that it didnt look good so i had to make it again.
551 polys and a 512x512 map.Of course it will be used in my silent hill like game called the kid. This is still wip.Just 3 hours of intense work till now.
I would really like some c&c before i finish this and btw thanks for your support on the other models i have showcased here.

Hurray for dirt! I'm glad to see someone that's not afraid of it. Looks great man, but it'll look better with a little environment. A patch of ground, some dumpsters, old cars, etc will really take it up a notch. The only thing I'd really change, is that it's very apparent that you reused the same window over and over. And since your texture is set up so that you don't have to, I would make at least 2 or 3 that get reused.
Very nice work though.

hey Tumerboy
Thanks for your reply :)
I just placed the same window all over because i will add details to them (some closed, some broken etc...) this way i can add variations easier.
About the environment,I cant add it here since this will be exported buuut you will soon see some shots of the full environment.

hey fuxer..nice job so far...can't wait to see the rest of it.
my only advice - the main doors seem a little blurred in the close-up shot.
and the awning above the door..the texture looks stretched.
more more!

looks awesome. maybe a fireescape and a roof access door or some fans on the roof or something. and the windows in the front that run down the center look bunched maybe going with a single window. but it looks real nice. i'm doing some interiors right now for a project and i hope they come out half as good as that. did you do that texture yourself.

i'm going to update it very soon.
@spook i dont need a roof for it,adding many polys is smth i should avoid right now :)
I have the interiors ready so its just the building that needs to be finished right now.
yes.i made the textures myself an using some photos too of course.
@mttjss you are right,i'll have to check these probs :)
