I've been looking for a good LCD and I'm nearly on the edge now.
It seems that every company making these things seem to lie about response times. Turns out most are from grey to grey instead of black to white.

After days of searching I came up with the EIZO 19 FlexScan L768. Eizo claims it has a response time of 25 ms. Somehow I don't believe them. Unfortunately it's not in the shops near me (you can only order it then you're stuck with it).

I know that Eizo has nice colors but I'm also a rather hardcore gamer & I've heard user reviews that grind this thing into the ground when it comes to response times & ghosting.

Can anyone give a second opinion???

I'm also considering a Synchmaster but I'm a bit affraid that the colors won't stand up to the eizo

Hi,

I was looking for an LCD with the same requirements than yours (both excellent color rendering and good reactivity for games)... I finally bought (on Friday) an EIZO FlexScan L778 (which is the oldest brother of the L668 with theoritical 16ms specs...). I played with this screen the entire week-end (3D, Games, Video) and even if I'm not an Hard-Gamer (I don't spend 8hours per day playing Half Life 2 ;-) ), this screen rocks!!! Incredible colors, very good luminosity and contrast whatever you are doing with your screen.... P E R F E C T (at least for me)!

My 2 cents,

Grok
