Hi all dear maxers!

So here is a little thing i would like to find out:

Is there a way to make a Nurbs curve's CVs evenly spaced?

It would be nice to have e.g. a circle with evenly spaced
CVs, but how is it done?

is there some sort of 'normalise' function? I try not to go near Max's Nurbs...

Well Chris, now that you mentioned "normalise", i checked
what happens if you try to normalise a non-nurbs circle (spline), and found, guess what... the vertices are not evenly spaced.

In Nurbs there's nothing like normalise, only the rebuild function,
but it's useless for this purpose.

nuts, sorry... Hopefully someone else here has delved into the frustrating depths of Max's Nurbs :)

Yeah, MAX's NURBS implementation is pretty production weak. Luckily this is made up with it's Patch and Polygon tools.

But isn't it funny that there are problems with creating a
simple circle ??? Unless there actually exists a nice and fast answer, as often happens with questions of this trivial sort...
