hi,
i plan to make a street scene with big skycrapers by night, but what is the way to get the illuminated windows ? make a scene with standard day maps and a night lighting, or
do i have to prepare darker "night textures" with illuminated windows ?
if i start with day textures, how do i get them illuminated ?
i'm using max6

Use luminosity maps to make the windows glow. It can suffice as long as you don't get too close to the windows (in which case they make look a little fake).
