I want to get a bunch of my work onto DVD..a reel of sorts. anyway, i'm trying to figure out what the best way to do this is so that the DVD is compatible with all DVD players. in the past i've had problems getting DVDs to play in some players.

so i've put a composition together of my work in after effects. what should i render the movie out as? what format? then once i have a rendered movie, whats the best way to get it to DVD, and should i use DVD+R or DVD-R? any help with this would be great! thanks

Try the 30day demo of adobe encore... for the whole process... render out of ae as a QT movie w/ the animation codec best quality settings... then take that to encore for authoring.

As for making it universally compatible... it's still a bit of a crap shoot. DVD-R and follow the info available w/ encore.
