If it's just a plugin, it will go into your maya/plug ins folder.
I havent tried the bevel plus plugin yet, so I cant really help you from experience.
I recommend making the bevels yourself, they are easier to control that way. I use MJPoly tools, there you can select edges and dupe them, then a little tweaking will make the bevels for you that way.

no man this is a very nice plug in thats makes bevels from 2d curves and has a lot of options with different styles and it lets you convert them to polygons.

Ok I installed it with zero problems so there is something in the way you installed it.
First, if you think you installed it correctly, did you go into maya's plug-in manager and actually turn it on? You can click on load or auto load (so it will open everytime you open MAYA)

Second, if it still doesnt work, right click on the zip and extract it all to one folder.
Open up the folders one at a time and cut and paste everything into the appropriate places.

Remember all the folder contents need to got into the folder through your C: drive (path example: C:\AW\4.0\bin, docs, html, etc.)

That should do it for you. Im glad I looked on this thread, the Bevel plus tool is actually pretty cool and might even come in handy some day.

Good Luck

BevelPlus rocks. I discovered it for myself a few months back, and it has saved me a TON of time on a few projects. It's really really great at what it does. I've found polys to be the only way to go.
