Doctor Who rocked! Wonder if they can really pull off a new season of it. Wonder how much CG stuff is gonna be in it. Are they gonna do the Daleks in CG?

Cool :)

I would've liked to see some of the actors in it, but I suppose it's still to early...

Real is only ever going to be a stop-gap measure for them, IMHO.

They're doing their own video format. They'll probably use a Dirac/Vorbis based stream eventually. (IMHO they should move to Theora/Vorbis as a stop-gap instead of Real, but it's up to them...)

I would've liked to see some of the actors in it, but I suppose it's still to early... Christopher Eccleston is Doctor Who. You can see more about the production and cast HERE (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/doctorwho/newtv/index.shtml) and HERE (http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/faces/christopher_eccleston.shtml) and HERE (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/3592515.stm). There are further links from these pages too. They actually have a very skilled writer working on the series as well. Something to keep an eye on...

(Agree with JDEX too, "any other player"!!!)

Oh I realised that, I meant it would've been nice to see clips of him in the role :)

Sorry about that. You have to admit the line "Nice to meet you, Rose. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!" really does sound right for Dr. Who.

Yeah :)

It's been a looong time since I sat down and watched much Dr Who... I really should borrow some DVDs from my Dr Who-fanatic friend :)

I wish they would release a more comprehensive set of the classic episodes. I used to watch the Doctor on PBS every week.

Here's hoping the new show will be excellent. I'm looking forward to it! :)

They were filming this in the street outside my work. We went and had a look but it was pretty boring, not the most exciting scene.
