I'm getting this "not enough disk space to receive job" error on two of my machines while trying to assign them to active jobs in the render queue.

Each machine has ove 60 GB free.

In the past, when confronted with this, I've reassigned the temp folder (in windows settings) to c:\temp which has worked. Other times, I've deleted the 3dsmax\network folder and created a new one.

This time however, neither of those solutions are working.

All machines are running Max 4.25 service pack 1, under Windows 2000. The two machines in question are dual Athlon 1.9 Ghz with 1 GB of RAM each.

Any ideas out there?

try deleting the max.log on the renderslaves networkfolder . . . they get pretty damn big after a while.
also make sure your system disc has enough free space . . .

Yeah, I deleted the entire network folder... and the drive has tons of free space.

I've been messing with this, and it only seems to give me the "disk space" error on certain render jobs, not all of them. It's wierd.

I have gotten the same problem when attempting to render from slave workstation.

Ive got plenty of HD Space - but it says "Not Enough disk Space to Receive job (free: 0k, needed: 5178k) "

Ive tried by clearing the Log but Ive had no look in solving this problem.

Would be greatful for any suggestions for this prob.....its driving me up the wall....
