Hello-

I just bought my first tablet. One thing that I noticed right off the bat was that the more pressure you put on the pen the thicker the line. I guess you can also change it so the more pressure you put on the pen, the more opacity you will get.

So my question is, which way is more preferable? opacity change or line thickness change with more pressure of the pen. Or is there a quick way you can change between the 2 really quickly using one of the buttons on the tablet or pen?

That really depends on what program you're using the tablet for, as well as the brush type (soft, hard, etc.).

I am using photoshop and I will be texture mapping for 3D characters. What kind of brushes do you recommend to use as well?

In Photoshop if your in Brush mode, the more pressure the wider the line is.
If your turn the airbrush mode on, is the opacity that is affected as well as the widthness.
