hi, everyone
i'm one of a newbie that want to use pmG. i've download the demo & use it with my notebook (ATI equipped...8( ) Well, it'd be one of my great tool. But I have some question to ask you guys.

- What is the most reliable card to use ? nVidia for sure but which one? Quadro FX help anything??, or just GeForce 5900....
- I love to use it with other software may be maya or lightwave. which one is the most reliable to cooperate with pmG & how flexible / good - bad point for advanced CA?
- how easy to use the function curve/envelope (what's it call in pmG?) to use with some application that not support as host? may be only camera movement and some camera info is sufficient.

good to see pmG work. i love the way pmG work as I've seen but I'm using Mac mainly. If i buy it, i have to buy a new PC too.... or just stay with my Mac and buy Mac Maya...

thank you for everyone's advice.

-nVidia cards. My 5950 works great.

-nVidia cards.

-I don't really understand your last question. You want to move animation from Messiah to another app Messiah doesn't currently support? There is a BVH exporter out there. . . somewhere.

I don't use maya but my impression was that Lightwave works best, followed by maya, so you should be fine.
For a lot of cases, PointOvenPro (http://www.ef9.com) provides you with even more options.

Graphics cards are currently preferably 5xxx Nvidias, since the newest 6xxx seem to give some interface trouble.

You can export function curves in several ways, the most easy one is just as a Lightwave .mot file. PointOvenPro can directly write Lightwave scenes with the Lights and Camera intact - from there you can convert to more exotic stuff :-)

I hope this helps :)
