CGTalk - Eyelbrows/Eyelash

Im making a fairly high detail character and its come time to touch up on these parts of the model. I created the eyelashes from many splines, but they looked odd and were hard to manage if i changed the model at all. So what do you guys use? especially for eyebrows. Thanks!
