If you are using a painted texture in maya and you set the repeat to more than the default setting, how does maya resample the image........FOR EXAMPLE.......if you repeat an image in photoshop you will loose quality as it will start to average out pixels since there is less space to display the info......is this the same way Maya deals with it? will it give me a better end result if I tile in Maya rather than maya???? bump maps specifically have a problem when you start averaging pixels which is the main reason i'm asking. thanks
