CGTalk - Layer Question

Hello, I am new to photoshop, and I have 4 images. They are all seperate JPEGs and the same size, and actually are pieces of one big picture. You see I am making a texture for a 3d model, and I seperated parts of the mesh unwrap image, and I painted them, now is there a way I can take the basic image, and add all of the others as layers on top, so it becomes one big image? Sorry if that question didnt make sense, its hard to explain.

hit F1 in Photoshop and read the layers section, it should tell you most of what you need to know.

(but yes, you can do that. just open your images, hit V and shift+leftdrag them over into your new canvas. they should then be stuck on separate layers automatically - after that, you can hit ctrl+t to transform them (resize, rotate, skew, etc.)
