ral1978: I don't mean to be a dick here, but the I believe the object of this forum is to give constructive critisism, not say "you suck. lemme do it."
MaskTX: I won't bullshit you, you do need to learn anatomy quite a bit. But as a concept, I think this piece is really strong. I like the unusual blend of the feminine character contrasting with the heavy looking and very massive mechanical arm. I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of reworking your character to show what I mean.(quick sketch so it's not very good)

Now I'm not really the best artist to give advice, but here goes...Overall, she needs to be taller. around 8 heads for a heroine character. also g-strings ride higher in the hips and lower in the crotch making a big "V" hips out, stomach in, (I had to add the large breasts) hope that helped a little. (these are observations. I don't know how accurate they are)

Honestly, it's not the worst image I've ever seen. It's not great, but it's better than most. A majority of the world has little to no artistic talent. The fact that you've come this far, well, that's an accomplishment.

There is more to a figure drawing than just anatomy. UNDERSTANDING is possibly even more important than proportions (which is essential). Without a deep understanding of what you are drawing, it will not look believeable. That being said, with understanding, you will have to work extra hard to convince the viewer that it "could happen".

The arm looks solid, massive, heavy. If you haven't thought of it yet, the arm should be an exoskeleton, if it is a "replacement" part, it will not work, especially at that weight. Let's assume that the ARM was indeed a replacement limb: It would have to be connected to bone. In order to be grafted to the bone, there are very few ways it can be accomplished, it would have to be either Pinned, Connected, or Jointed.

If the arm were jointed (the exisiting bone capped with a metallic joint, and technology for a "Ball and Socket" rotation was fitted to it), the operating table would have no problems, but when the girl tried to stand, and lift her arm, her skeleton wouldn't have the strength to support the massive weight, causing bones to break and ARM to fall to the ground.

If the ARM were pinned (Like jointed, but the joint is built onto the ARM, and is then pinned to place through bone.) the same problems as jointed arise, but rather than breaking the end of the bone, and falling to the ground, the ARM would split whatever bones it was attached to in half, possible splintering or shattering them. A very painful result.

Finally, if you went to the extreme with Connecting the ARM, you would have to build supports, install those supports, and basically rebuilt the skeletal structure. Based on the complexity of taking apart a human, making it better, and putting it back together, the cost would be incredible, the work would be so much, and the possibility of failure so high (as it requires a complete removal of a skeletal system) it would be cheaper to build an Android.

Well, I hope this increases some understanding. These are the kinds of things you have to think about. I wanted to write much more, but I am running out of time, and I must get to work soon. Lol. Oh well, maybe another post.

Just my $0.02.
