View Full Version : maintaining uv space.

just say i make a plane and map a texture to it (planar map). then, i want to add a window or whatever, the texture will begin to warp as i edit. Is there a way to 'lock' the uv's? So if I were to move/add polys the texture resolution stays the same?

Apply the UVW Map modifier, then edit the model in the modifier below it, with Show End Result on.
