Hey guys,

I used to post here a bit durring the beast of burden contest, but have gotten super busy at work since then. Anyways, a friend of a friend recently made me realize I need mroe critique in my life, and that I need to get honest feedback in order to grow.

These are three renders I did for an album that came out a while back, the useage of these models totally changed from these renders. example, the orangeish brown frog was blurred an added to the foreground (but was then lost in the print job...to much gain on an unkown paper stock, and no one alerted us..oh well)
the head was turned yellow and 'exploded' (you can see some photoshop texture work already done, but not much) and the final polygon frog was turned green/brown. These are pretty much how they rendered out except a few things here and there, such as turning the heads 'neck' white and cracky, and stuff like that.

I made these about 3-4 months ago, and will try to post some more recent work when I am allowed to. I have to wait for stuff to come out first tho heh. I do have some personal work to show, but It is on another computer.

So untill then, please...be kind and honest. (if you can)

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I was going for a unique look. The problem is that I started it with the intention of using sub-d's but then like the jagged look, wanted it smother to, and just keep doing stuff to it, the poly count is ridiculous tho, and what with me having only a 500 mhz p3. kinda pathetic eh? I got a new computer now tho. woohoo

Anyways, Thanks for the feedback.
Oh and I like your signature. Do you study martial arts? I study Wing Chun, which is something Lee himself used to study before developing his own techniques.

So, yeah thanks for the reply!

what's your favorite style you have trained for?

I can luckily afford it, the teacher is really good, and it's kinda 'garage' kung fu. i mean we train (in florida where it's hot as all heck) in an un-airconditioned dirty garage. It's great tho. When we have competitions we all feel very compfy. Nice ac, padded floors.

We also train in a few different styles here and there. I beleive we do brazzilian stick fighting (not sure of the technical name,as I have not begun it yet) and some form of swords.

where did you go to school?
