I'm sure you know this already, but great artists to look at to capture this type of scene, Byron Crab (spelling?? Original Kong artist.) and Doug Henderson, modern day paleoartist.

It's not for disappoint the community, but the pictures is not made for the production movie (artwork or a matte painting). I started this picture for the video game adaptation, and just for the pleasure i worked on some artwork.
It's just a personnal vision base on some movie shoot saw on kongisking.net (for the statue design for example).
The next artwork will be base on a....be patient.

This piece is exellent! I did a painting of a jungle scene like this a couple months ago, but it isn't anywhere near this! I'm sure you didn't spend as much time as I did on mine too.... Absolutely amazing.
