Is it possible when using the -ann command, I can actually get the text to wrap onto the next line ?

No you can only put strings in them. And if you try to put "break \n line" into the command it just prints "break  line" where  is a real square that i could not type in another way :).
And if you put hundreds of characters into the string so that it is larger then your screen it still not splits up.
