anyone ever seen this one ? well i haven't, and i don't know how to fix it either - max 4.2 FATAL ERROR !


-(at startup)-

"interactive 3D renderer initialization failed."

?

then it'll kill the program... anyone know how to fix it?

I know you said nevermind, but just so you know it's a display driver issue. You can always launch MAX and change driver parameters (OpenGL, Direct3d, SZB) by typing:

3dsmax.exe -h
