hi,
once again i have another question i would like to ask you guys.
i am creating an animated logo from a picture. and i was woundering how to simulate water filling up the inside of the logo. (if you know what i mean, lol)
The logo almost looks like the @ sign, just upside down ;-)
i already modeled the logo in modeler, and i am ready for layout. and i use lightwave 8,

so i hope you guys can help me once again.

thank you
Matt

depends on how you want to fill it up. fast, slow, etc - i mean the LOOK of it. DOes it just fill up like water was pumped in from beneatrh, or is each letter filled from a source from
above, etc etc.

you could do it with particles and hypervoxels but thats just asking for higher
rendertimes. usually :-)

a slowly rising polygon in the shape of each letter with a ripple displacement map on it
would work, and probably be the fastest. but might look like slowly rising water....

or maybe both.

if u ever finish this, please write a tutorial, cause i was never able to fill a glass of water with standard particles in lightwave. I did it with realflow wich is fantastic for such thing but not with lightwave. I'll keep trying again to see if i find something new.

i think ill be using particles and hypervoxels, because the water will be pumped in.
what would you think.

Here is a picture of the logo that will be filled.

Thanks for the help once again.
