Dont use the license Administrator . Just start Houdini Master and it will get the license from the net automaticly .

Any particular reason you're using 6.1? If not, use 7.0 - get it from:

yeah i dont have broadband so that might be why its timing out..

but the only reason i havent tried v7 is cuzz its too big to download on dial up! ;)

i'm getting cable installed soon so i'll get 7.x now , should solve any issues with version 9.1 of suse (if there were any in v 6.1)
