Very nice head and upperbody work on this character lots of detail appropriate anatomical exageration in the right parts. I think the hip area certainly needs more work, the hip appears quite flat and shapeless at the moment. Looks like this should work out very well.

haven't seen van helsing in a while but if i remember correctly the snout is a bit longer. in ur update the face looks more like a bear. Also the waist area is a bit too wide and flat. good effort though :)

He does look a bit like a bear.
Try to use the shapes of the muscles etc. to give it more volume.
it looks a bit flat in places like the muscles where plastered on. I am not sure how to explain it but I had similar problems with a model of mine.

Looking good. How long have you been working on it? It'd take me quite some time to get the kind of detail you have on it (mainly the old version).

hey dude, good job so far, nice improvement, the guy doesn't seem to have much of an armpit. U might wanna review the bicep, maybe make it thinner and show the triceps hanging under it, also the connection under the armpit needs a bit of work. Also, give this guy an elbow he will look much better. The dip in the forearm looks odd, it shoudn't be just pushed in, review your anatomy on that area. Also try giving him some love handles, or at least a hint of it, or some kind of bone structure, the hips are not really there. hope that helps, keep it comin'

cheers

Fantastic model, the only thing i would change is the leg.I would make it more wolf -like. And, as said before, you could work on the elbow a little bit more. I know its hark at this stage of modeling to change anything, but it would improve a lot.

I like it a lot so far, but I think that its looking a little to much like a man with a wolfs head. Perhaps its just the lack of fur, but I remembered the Van Helsing werewolf to be quite a bit more...animalistic. Bring in the stomach a little, and broaden the shoulders. Perhaps hunch the back a little bit.

Still rather spiffy!

hai there,

excellent work man! i love it a lot! one thing i would say is the same with the above comment, maybe hunch the back a little. other than that, that is one solid model!!

Hello friends,

I found this topic in search of a werewolf tutorial - I am a Cinema 4D user. I mostly work on solid modeling with primitives, booleans and poly-editing. I am planing to start organic modeling and I want to make a werewolf just like that one.

Any suggestions and tutorial links ?

Thank you very much...
