I have a hand skeleton orient constraint to a control object, if constrainted on all 3 axis work fine, but as soon as I break off the x axis connection from the hand skeleton, things break.

now when i rotate the control object, the hand skeleton flips...is this a limitation with the constaint on only 2 axis?

as you know the hand rotates in 2 axis so i'm trying to get it only affect 2. axis

also is having offset values an issue?

why not just use the connection editor to pipe the orientation from the joint to the control object for rotation and then lock and remove the channel that you dont need ?

I dont really understand your question :p

well that won't work if i have got a joint skeleton..parent/child relation where i want the orientation of child to inherit the constraint object, and not the parent joint...
