I was told about this site by a friend and its really awesome i must say. although it makes one desperate to see what u guys create in a few minutes.
i couldnt compete with those if i had 6 month to come by with a picture.

im not a native english speaker so forgive me if i mess up with ur language ;).

anyhow i've just started to play with painter and like to hear what u say about this quickie i was doing with airbrush and glow fx.

and maybe how i could make this thing a bit more interesting in a few easy steps.

WEll First I want to say sorry in advance but this is not a speed painting I just didn't know where else to post this one, if you guys know of a better place let me know. Second, The piece here is a a painting on still working on I decided to show the stages I've gone through to get to my final image that still under work. I have here the black and white study teh tighten balck and white and the quick washes of color to get a sense to where to go next, I also had the block in stage of the planes but I deleted it by mistake, any comments good bad, welcomed.

Nice hair, but the nose/area between the eyes is rather weird. I think the eyes are too far apart and it doesn't show the dip at the bottom of the forehead leading into the bridge of the nose.

Zhuzhu- Yeah the slam dunk contest was nice. It is had to jump up and grab the rim for a person 5 feet 9 inches tall. Believe me it feels like you are in the air going up forever. Ah the memories of Junior High Basketball. Nice job on the painting.

The cat got up on my monitor and I had my tablet plugged in and Painter open, so I sketched her real quick and colored her...though near the end she was growling at me for not letting her get down. About 30 minutes I think...though I had to resketch her several times at the start (of course animals never hold still for you). Meh. It was a good excercise.

The first became quick because I didn't like it (and added the flowers because i didn't like it :D). The second is a quick"experiment with different brushes and get your damn art dynamic", but it came out quite manga style). Suggestions on technique are always more than welcome. :)
