Zed.Yang - Yeah, you put a BCKGND. Cool. One thing thou. Your Female Warrior and the Portrait are "soft" - meaning you propably paint with soft edge'd brushes. While these paints are nice, they lack (At least to me) the 'final' impact because of the softness.

First Post here on cgtalk, so...hum i'm quite impresssed by all those monsters around me.

Anyway: here's a speedy done with the self limit of hearing ten times a song (Halo from the band Soil) so it's a 31.7 minutes run. It's really messy but i've done it with nothing in mind and making strokes on the rythm of the song.

breathtaking perspective, details in the right places, focus fully hammered home and precise values albeit a loose and sketchy and therefore vivid look in places!

how long did that take you?

btw, is that cintiq thing a portable pressure-sensitive screen? I mean, you could use it with a notebook, too? Or how does it work exactly? And is it so portable that you come close to a sort of sketchbook feel (you know, drawing on your lap sitting on the couch)...

Mr.Mu : hey , thanks! it took me 1h30/2h .The cintiq is a pressure sensitive screen, but deifinitely not portable :p it weights like 10 kilograms. If you wanna sketch in your bed or outside, the best is a tablet PC I guess.

No deepness really, I just enjoy making them - I enjoy the manipulation of the colors and form, as well as exploring PS. I do tons of these - lots of fun.

They dont have explicit 'realist' content, but graphically, I think they are pretty solid - what do you think?
