Hello all....
I got some question concerning animation and simulation..
1. I got a character that would have a lot of accessories like chains, necklace, ropes and such. I had tried applying bones and hand animate it but it was very tedious and complicated to control. Can anybody tell me in detail how can I get all this to animate by using simulation ( collision, constraints and such )
2. I am confused with the method of doing cloth. Let me give a senario. I have a character who wears a trenchcoat. The lower part of the coat would be free for simulation and the upper part would stick to the body. How do I do this? Can I model the whole character with trenchcoat normally, texture it, bind it and then apply cloth simulation or I model the body, and create garment from the cloth module? Is there anyway of using bones, skinning and other type of simulation to get the same results?
3. Lastly, is there anyway of producing hair by using patches and cloth simulation like the ones found in games ( especially in final fantasy 10 )?
I know that there are a lot of question in here and i hope that somebody would be able to answer my questions. I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance!
